Melodie MCGEOCH

Professor, La Trobe University

My research focuses on the ecology and conservation of populations and communities. I am interested in quantifying and modeling the abundance, distribution and turnover of species, including invasive alien species. Research projects include the quantification and monitoring of trends in biological invasion, for the purpose of informing biodiversity policy and management, and the response of sub-Antarctic terrestrial ecosystems to climate change. I work with the IUCN ISSG and GEO BON to advance the evidence base for species conservation. For more information see: http://melodiemcgeoch.com/
